Local SNT Supports Community Safety Event for Young People

On Friday, officers from the local Safer Neighbourhood Team attended the LBWF Community Safety Team event based at 228 Chingford Mount, which brought together a range of organisations dedicated to supporting young people across the borough.

The event showcased a variety of services and opportunities available to young people, including youth employment programmes, sexual health outreach services, and the innovative mobile youth centre operated by Youth Unity CIC. These initiatives provide valuable support, guidance, and safe spaces for young people to develop skills, access advice, and engage positively within their communities.

Our officers were pleased to meet with local partners, strengthen relationships, and learn more about the resources available to help support young people. Partnership working remains a key part of our commitment to keeping communities safe and ensuring young people have access to the opportunities and support they need to thrive.
